Anil Suchari Named Commissioner of Sagar Division; Major Changes in PWD, Election Commission, Revenue Board, Lokayukta, and EOW
In a late-night administrative overhaul, the Madhya Pradesh government has transferred four IAS officers and ten officials from the State Police Service (SPS), reaffirming its commitment to strengthening governance and administrative efficiency across departments.
Approved on Tuesday night, the reshuffle involves crucial assignments in the Public Works Department (PWD), Election Commission, Revenue Board, and key investigative bodies including the Lokayukta and Economic Offenses Wing (EOW).
IAS Appointments and Reassignments
Sukhveer Singh (IAS) Relieved from the Election Commission, Singh has been appointed Principal Secretary, PWD, taking over from ACS Neeraj Mandloi, who has relinquished his additional charge.
Sanjeev Kumar Jha (IAS) Member of the Revenue Board, Gwalior, Jha will now serve as Chief Electoral Officer of Madhya Pradesh, succeeding Sukhveer Singh.
Raghuraj M. R (IAS) Transferred from the Technical Education Department, he is appointed Secretary, Labor Department. With this, Umakant Umrao is relieved of his additional responsibilities in Labor.
Anil Suchari (IAS) Previously Secretary, General Administration, Suchari steps into the role of Commissioner, Sagar Division, a prominent regional post.
Mukesh Chandra Gupta Secretary, State Human Rights Commission, has been entrusted with additional charge as Member, Revenue Board.
Vivek Kumar Porwal Principal Secretary, Revenue, will now also oversee the Technical Education, Skill Development & Employment Department.

Ten SPS officers have been reassigned, particularly in investigative roles across districts like Jabalpur, Ujjain, Gwalior, Bhopal, and Rewa.

According to sources, this round of transfers was under deliberation for several weeks, and a more extensive reshuffle may follow. On June 27, the Home Department had already issued orders for the transfer of 39 SPS officers, signaling the beginning of a broader administrative overhaul.
