Sanjita Gupta Unanimously Elected President of IFS Association, Chhattisgarh;

In a significant development, Sanjita Gupta, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Finance/Budget and Production), has been unanimously elected President of the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Association, Chhattisgarh, during its annual elections.

A 1997 batch officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, Gupta is widely respected for her integrity, experience, and dedication. Her election has been warmly welcomed by the forest fraternity, with expectations of forward-looking leadership and initiatives aimed at the welfare of IFS officers across the state.

Key Office-Bearers Elected Unopposed

Reflecting a strong spirit of collaboration and unity, all positions in the executive body were filled through unanimous consensus. The newly elected core team includes:

Vice President: Raju Agasi Mani (posted at CSF, Raipur)

Secretary: Alok Tiwari (Wildlife Conservator of Forests)

Joint Secretary: Guru Nathan (Deputy Conservator of Forests, Land Management)

Treasurer: Loknath Patel (Divisional Forest Officer, Raipur)

 Executive Committee of 15 Members Constituted

In addition to the core leadership, 15 IFS officers have been selected to serve on the Executive Committee. They will assist in policy discussions, decision-making, and coordinating association activities throughout the state.

The formation of the new team marks a renewed commitment to collective leadership and the strengthening of professional solidarity within the IFS cadre in Chhattisgarh.
