UP: 3 IAS, 18 PCS Officers Transferred; Diksha Joshi Appointed Joint Magistrate, Meerut

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government, under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has implemented a major administrative reshuffle, transferring 3 IAS officers and 18 senior PCS officers to streamline governance and boost efficiency across the state.
Key IAS Transfers:

Amit Kumar Ghosh (IAS, 1994), returning from central deputation, has been appointed Principal Secretary, Secretariat Administration, replacing K. Ravindra Nayak (IAS, 1995).
Mr. Ghosh will also oversee Administrative Reforms, Public Service Management, and serve as Director of the Administrative Reforms Directorate. Additionally, he has been given charge of Dairy Development, Fisheries, and Animal Husbandry departments.

Diksha Joshi (IAS, 2022), previously Joint Magistrate Hardoi, has been transferred to Meerut in the same role.

Notable PCS Transfers:

Amresh Kumar – from Deputy Director, Mandi Parishad Lucknow, to ADM (Administration), Mathura

Dayanand Prasad – from Additional Mela Adhikari, Prayagraj, to Additional Director (Administration), Agriculture Directorate

Abhinav Pathak – from Special Executive Officer, Kumbh Mela, to SDM Agra

Alok Gupta – from Kumbh Mela duties to SDM Kanpur Nagar

Sunil Kumar Jha – from Revenue Council to Registrar, Major Dhyan Chand Sports University, Meerut

Other Key Appointments:

Navneet Goyal – ADM (Judicial), Maharajganj

Gyanendra Nath – SDM Prayagraj

Pushpraj Singh – Secretary, Gorakhpur Development Authority

Sumit Singh – SDM Aligarh

Anshika Dixit – SDM Bijnor

Sanjay Kumar Singh & Narendra Bahadur Singh – exchanged posts between Muzaffarnagar and Lakhimpur Kheri as ADM (Administration)

Ajit Kumar Singh – GM, UP Sugar Mills Association

Vinita Singh – Secretary, Development Authority Prayagraj

Siddharth Chaudhary – SDM Etawah

Paritosh Mishra – SDM Aligarh

Shailesh Kumar Dubey & Sudhir Kumar – exchanged postings between Sant Kabirnagar and Amroha
